Using a small frame loom and a beautiful selection of natural yarns and fibres, you’ll create your a woven wall hanging to take home. I’ll introduce you to some simple tapestry techniques and guide you along the way, leaving you free to experiment, combine colours and textures and make something that’s truly your own.
Tapestry weaving is a lovely way to slow down, get absorbed in making and enjoy the simple pleasure of creating with your hands. There’s no pressure to be artistic or get everything perfect. Just a chance to try something new, have fun and see what you can create.
Never woven before? No problem! This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, or those with some experience. I’ll be on hand to help you every step of the way.
Workshop numbers are kept small so that I can give everyone plenty of support.
